Petri's award-winning poster

Petri’s hand-drawn poster caught many eyes.

Congratulations to Petri for securing the poster prize at the recent I&I PhD retreat. Her peers specifically commended the originality and creativity of her unique, hand-drawn design. At the NVVI meeting, Petri also presented her work on B cells and her poster got a honorable mention from the jury.

Eric is awarded with one of the four poster prizes at NVVI!

Eric’s poster on multiplex imaging of tonsils was recognized with one of the four poster prizes at the NVVI (DSI) meeting. His clear presentation and engaging content made a strong impression on the judges. As a Master student in the lab Eric has been supervised by Luc, and the rest of the team is super proud of them both for this achievement!

Luc presents work on tonsil slice cultures at NVVI Meeting.

Luc’s 5-day in vitro germinal centers drew a lot of attention at the NVVI meeting. His poster highlighted how these cultures can be used to study B cell responses outside the body, providing valuable insights into immune function. His critical attitude drives this project forward and we look forward to seeing where this leads!

Christian presented his plans at the GSK retreat.

Finally, Christian presented his research plans on FDC activation during the recent GSK retreat, engaging in valuable discussions with his peers. Unfortunately we don’t have a picture of his poster, but here is one of him! Future experiments will reveal how FDCs contribute to germinal center dynamics and B cell maturation.
